About Microsoft Edge Android app

I'm using the Microsoft Edge browser on my android phone i.e. Oppo F11 Pro. While watching youtube videos on the Microsoft Edge browser. The browser doesn't even block Youtube ads, why is it so? Since the browser has a built-in adblocker.
