Is the client side Outlook tool on their machines the only way to fix their issues?

Q: is the client side Outlook tool on their machines the only way to fix their issues?  I would like to automate this so user interaction with the outlook tool is as limited as possible...
A: We found this would be the best way to guarantee the issues are resolved as running the Exchange patch on these mailboxes will result in the same error logs.
