Q: I have a question about this new cdo hotfix for outlook 2003-http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932962. How does this affect rebasing? Does it supersede it? Do i still need to rebase? Is there a change in the order or timing as re: this hotfix?
A: The rebasing is separate from the CDO update. The CDO update will apply the new DST dates for the server to use in calculating free/busy, etc across time zones. The Rebasing tool "fixes" or updates existing appointment items that were created prior to OS and CDO patches.
