SIP Trunk over Express Route

Hi, 

Looking to see if anyone has delivered a SIP trunk over un-metered Express Route to Azure hosted Audiocodes VE or CE SBCs or any other vendor's SBC?  Is it a supported configuration to run SIP over Express Route? Any gotchas?
