WVD with Client-server Apps and File Shares

Regular Visitor

Question for the community. Am I correct that one should pay special attention to WVD-hosted fat client / client-server apps that need to communicate with on-premises servers and databases as well as the bandwidth / latency requirements for user access to on-premises file shares?

I'm concerned that too little attention is being paid to the potential problem of hosting WVD environments whose applications and desktops have implicit bandwidth / latency requirements that haven't been addressed prior to deployment.

Yes - you should pay attention to this. Sessions Hosts should be as close as possible to application/DB-servers.
