We've got a host pool with 5 different VMs, the pool was created "direct assignment" since the beginning, and each VM was correctly assigned an AAD user. This has been working fine for a couple of months.
About a week ago, one of the users started reporting issues trying to connect to his assigned host, he was seeing the message "Please wait for AzureAD\<AAD_User> to respond". Sure enough, the connection logs show the different user was redirected to the wrong session host.
Fixed the issue by removing and reassigning the host to the user, even swapped them as they don't store personal information on the VM. Today a different user reported the same issue and the connection shows the same condition.
Any idea why the user/host mapping is not being honored? - Thanks!
