License on VDI
Hi,
i'm fairly new to VDI. So i have a lot of questions/doubts concerning licensing (Microsoft doesn't make it easy :-))
So i"m traying to setup a VDI server for 5 users.
I have my Server license, my Windows CAL's , my RDS CAL's, etc..
So server wise i'm okay.
So, now,
What do i need for my 5 Windows 10 VDI "computers", licensing wise ?
Windows 10 OEM ?
Windows 10 PRO full ?
Windows 10 Enterprise ?
Windows 10 PRO with SA ?
Any advice is welcome.

- virtualmancIron ContributorHi Jo_Lambrecht Could you describe your environment? This is a WVD Forum so I am going to presume you are using Windows Virtual Desktop. All you need for Windows Virtual Desktop are either of the following licenses: - Microsoft 365 E3/E5
- Microsoft 365 A3/A5/Student use benefits
- Microsoft 365 F3
- Microsoft 365 Business Premium**
- Windows 10 Enterprise E3/E5
- Windows 10 Education A3/A5
- Windows 10 VDA per user
If not, then this probably needs moving to the RDS Forum
