Firewall for AVD

Hi all

I am setting up an AVD solution for 5 users who will all use Defender for business.

Whats the recommended best practice on a firewall infront of these PC's? An Azure firewall at  €914 per month makes it cost prohibitive yet i don't want to compromise on security.

 

What should I do.

    I would recommend to have a firewall and a hub spoke network in place....
    You can use Azure Firewall or 3rd Party Fortigate for example....
    maybe you do not need the environment 7x24 you can shutdown your firwall to save money: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/firewall/firewall-faq#how-can-i-stop-and-start-azure-firewall
