Was this something that MS rep used internally to lookup hotfix/patch or in what context was it used?
- robertroot679Sep 26, 2024Copper ContributorWe are currently witnessing this with a few of our clients; Microsoft has to take action!
- MattNowickiSep 24, 2024Copper ContributorThey sent it to us directly. Apparently it will be included in October's patch, so we got an early release. It's unclear whether or not that actually solved our issue, but we do appear to be in the clear now.
- KevHalSep 25, 2024Iron ContributorSpent last night rebuilding the one of the affected host pool to see if it gets rid of all the appx errors. Every logon was pretty much broken, appx crashes and outlook/teams no longer worked after a long black screen event.
Seems to be ok this morning but will see how it goes.
I still have a cat A with Microsoft. I'm hoping to get a copy of the hotfix you got to see if it will sort the rest of our customers.- VOatMH1265Sep 25, 2024Copper ContributorWe also have severity A case but providing that KB998877 didn't ring any bells. New session hosts worked for us but only for 24-48 hours until issue occured on them as well. We have deployed new Win11 hosts as other pools with Win11 are not impacted, so we will see how that goes by Friday.
