Unable to shadow a users session that is using a remote app on a Windows 10/11 multi session host in Azure Virtual Desktop. When trying I just get a black screen. I am able to shadow user sessions that are on a desktop on the same hosts.
When I am shadowing and have a black screen, it will however still take keyboard input.
I am able to shadow user sessions that are using a remote app when the app is hosted on a Server 2012 host. But I no longer host apps on server 2012.
I am trying to shadow with this command example:
mstsc.exe /v:<HOSTNAME> /shadow:<SESSION NUMBER> /control /noConsentPrompt
This issue is only happening on hybrid joined Windows 10/11 Multisession hosts, this issue does not exist on Azure joined hosts.
