Hi AVD team, I'd like to report a broken link that is currently blocking ISV submissions for Multimedia Redirection (MMR) call redirection on Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365. The issue On the official Learn page: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/multimedia-redirection-developer-integration …the section "Submit your website for review or request assistance" points ISVs to this form to request inclusion in the Websites for call redirection allowlist: https://forms.microsoft.com/r/BtDs4pdYzB This form returns a 404 / no longer available error. As far as I can tell from the public documentation, this is the only documented channel for ISVs to submit their WebRTC-based calling app for review, so the broken link effectively blocks any new submission today. Context I'm working with a WebRTC-based business telephony ISV who has completed a successful MMR integration PoC on both AVD and Windows 365. Call redirection is working end-to-end, and one of their enterprise customers has independently validated the integration on their own tenant. The submission package is ready — we just have nowhere to send it. Ask Could the AVD / MMR team please: Update the link on the Learn page with a working submission URL, or Provide an alternative submission channel (email alias, replacement Forms URL, or the right internal contact) that ISVs can use in the meantime? Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) drag and drop files
In some situations, it is handy to drag and drop files from a local endpoint to for example AVD remote app. For example when using Outlook on the local endpoint and wanting to archive attachments in the ERP application (legacy app) hosted in a remote app. Copy and paste works but is not user-friendly in this situation.
Allow copy and paste directly to local desktop
Hello Microsoft I came across an issue , where the user wanted to copy and paste a file from their AVD session desktop to their local desktop on their computer. However the paste option was not grayed out(not available), due to microsoft not supporting it. I would like to have this option available for them rather than having drive redirection enabled and having them go to the c drive users\desktop and then pasting the file. Please implement the option to copy/paste files DIRECTLY onto their local desktop for future AVD updates/implementations Kind regards
Active Directory domain join is failing with Agent version 1.0.13805.400
Active Directory domain join is failing with Session Host Configuration running Agent version 1.0.13805.400 [Validation]. It works successfully with agent versions 1.0.13514.600 and 1.0.13229.200, same vnet, subnet, keyvault, domain OU's. Can this be fixed before Agent version 1.0.13805.400 gets moved into Production?
Windows 11 MultiSession 23h2 User Photo Bug
If a user changes their icon in the start menu, the profile picture is changed to the same for all users who are logged in to the same Windows 11 multi session + FSLogix session host. Fortunately, this doesn't happen in Teams / Outlook! This is a bug with MultiSession + Fslogix. Does anyone have any news on whether MS will fix the bug? Change AVD Insights Workbooks to use VM Insights Queries
Currently the AVD Insights workbooks rely on the Microsoft Monitoring Agent which is being retired. Please release an AVD Insights solution that works with and utilises the VM Insights capabilities of Azure Monitor. This will allow us to decommission the use of the MMA.Scalability Tool improvements - embed in management portal + auto provision VM's
Currently the scalability tool is not satisfying in large environment. The tool only starts/stops VM's based on load. This still means we have to provision VM's ourselves. Please provide enhancements to the scalability tool to auto-provision VM's which will save a huge amount of time for the AVD sysadmin. Perhaps these scalability options can be embedded in the AVD management portal as well.
Frequent AVD Deployment Failures
Since June 2024, we have experienced occasional failures in AVD deployments. While most deployments succeed through adding session hosts to the host pool, there are instances where the deployment fails. Given this situation, we would like to request a change in behavior to reduce the burden of recreating AVDs when deployment fails.
