I’m using Remote Desktop app (RD Client) on my iPad to access my Windows 365 environment. It generally works very well, but there appears to be a problem detecting certain keyboard combinations for web apps (ie, URL starting with “app”, like “app.Smartsheet.com”).

For example, if I want to indent a row on Smartsheet, I would typically type “ctrl + ]”. No problem doing so on Remote Desktop on PC or Mac, but the RD Client iOS app can’t detect this. Same for hitting spacebar to tick a checkbox.

Also can’t detect “ctrl + Enter” for another web app (app.tegus.co).

However, standard keyboard shortcuts like “ctrl + c” or “ctrl + v” work fine even in web apps.

Doesn’t appear to be a problem with the iPad Magic Keyboard, since I tried with a standard Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and these key combinations still don’t work in web apps. Same Logitech keyboard works fine when connected to a PC or Mac to access Remote Desktop.

I have updated my RD Client app too.

Would greatly appreciate some help here.

Thanks!

I do have a similar issue and feels like very few people using RD client with some advanced tasks like you are facing. Hope Microsoft will look into this issue and come up with an update soon.
