Maintenance activity to upgrade our infrastructure and services to latest technologies & hardware is completed. We've confirmed that all Azure Monitor Services are back to normal with no customer impact as of 01/30/2020. This upgrade was planned and carried out in phases with batch deployments in multiple regions by considering Geo-pairing. During this upgrade customer might have seen intermittent query timeouts or delay in alerting.
We understand that customers rely on Azure Monitor Services as critical services and apologize for any impact this incident may have caused.

Maintenance activity to upgrade our infrastructure and services to latest technologies & hardware has been extended till 1/29. This upgrade is planned in phases with batch deployments in multiple regions by considering geo-pairing. During this upgrade customer may see intermittent query timeouts or delay in alerting for a period of 15 minutes or less. As this upgrade will be done across all regions where we offer our services, so we expect all deployments to be completed by 1/29/2020. In case customers see any prolonged failures or have urgent need to delay the upgrades, we advise to reach out to us via support channel. We will try our best to avoid any downtime.
