the new Outlook supports now EML, MSG (saved emails) and OFT (Templates). You have to assign these with the new Outlook App in the Settings app (Win key + I) > Apps > Default Apps > Outlook New
Also to open these, you need the IE Mode feature > Winkey + I > System > Optional Features > IE Mode
