Azure VM - Disk dimension and speed
Hi,
we have a customer which currently is using on premisses server (for ERP purposes) with SSD where the Hardware specifications shows as 'Up to 3,400MB/s Read, 925MB/s Write' - (link1).
When we use our current Virtual Server Windows 2019 (B2Ms) on Azure with 'SSD Premium' of 1920GiB it shows as only 7500 IOPs/250MBps.
Is there a way to Azure environment delivery more speed, to reach at the least the current on premisses server HW speed?

Hi,
if you are looking for storage optimized VM's, B-series might be not the right fit. Take a look at this information here on Storage Optimized VM sizes: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/sizes-storage
