Hello AskPerf! My name is Susan from the Microsoft Performance team. We have some important information we wanted to share right away.

After installing the March 12, 2019 updates (KB4489881 and KB4489883) on Windows 2012 R2 machines, devices with a winsock kernel client may experience 0xc2,  D1, FC and possibly other bugchecks. (including event 41)

Systems that run the Skype for Business or Lync Server Edge Transport role may be impacted by this issue.

At this time, we recommend you apply one of the following patches and reboot.

1.       Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 Security Only: 4493467     << includes security fixes only

2.       Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, and Windows RT 8.1 Monthly Rollup: 4493446     << includes additional fixes both non security fixes, and older security fixes.

If you are experiencing this issue, and applying either 4493467      or    4493446     does not resolve the issue, please call Microsoft and open a support incident.
