Did you know you can run PowerShell on macOS and Linux based operating systems?

Just wanted to pass this on in case you did not know...

For the macOS…

for Linux…

Now you know!

Awesome! glad to know. I wish we could run CentOS on Hyper-V and really have fun with this.

Dear @CraigMarcho ,

I am really trying to get some help, I hope you have time to react! First of all, thank you for your post, really good to point out that powerShell is accessible on a Mac too!

Yet ... I am trying for many days now to get things done with PowerShell on a Mac.

Installation of HomeBrew and PowerShell (7) is not a problem. I can also add modules, e.g. to work with Teams.

Installation of the SPO module does not work, there is no cmdlet connect-SPO*.

I would also need to be able to connect to Azure in order to convert an Office 365 group to a security enabled group. For that, I tried to install the PowerShell AzureAD module. Installation seems to succeed, but nothing is installed. I also tried another approach: using the powershell terminal within the Azure portal. What should I do to have access to these services?
