Hello, Insiders! This week’s update is very small, we’re only moving one item into Not Planned. Let’s hop into those details!
We’re marking Profile picture is not syncing or displaying as Not Planned. We had added this item based on feedback from users who were concerned that the profile picture took too long to update or appeared to not update at all. We have decreased the amount of time the checks the browser does for new pictures, making these pictures update quicker than they have in the past. After different conversations on the team, we have decided to not make any further adjustments here. As we are no longer hearing this is a problem for users, we believe these small changes have improved the experience and are closing the item out.
However, as with any item we mark as Not Planned or Addressed on this list, we want to know if you continue to spot issues with these types of items. If your profile picture seems to take longer than a day to update, please submit feedback directly through the browser so that the team can investigate. You can do this by heading to the … menu > Help and feedback > Send feedback and detail your thoughts or suggestions for the team.

- This is great I think you should try to get all these features into Microsoft Edge and then try to improve the overall browser UI and stability. Once that is complete then you should try working on adding the inking back to Edge. After that, you should get USer feedback on what you should do next so that Edge can be how we would like to see Edge. That way edge isn't broken like the Legacy Edge was where no one used it.
- Thank you for the update, just wondering what is the plan for "Bring the tab set aside feature from the current version of Microsoft Edge" ? It is Alternative Planned and I am curious about the design.

- I guess you are right but I am curious to see if this the replacement for set tabs aside or is it a new feature?

This is actually work we're doing in partnership with internal teams, and I had updated this item a couple months ago on why we moved this back to Planned. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/discussions/top-feedback-summary-for-march-3/m-p/2182562 If you have a FastTrack contact, I highly suggest reaching out to them so they can chat with the proper people. 🙂 I know this feels like a non-answer, but it truly is the best way to help get this moving.

What happened to the Web Capture button on MS Edge Beta? Ctrl+Shift+S doesn't work too.Linux version
But, it is there in the dev version. 🙂
in one version something work, in next again not work... for example i use edge-dev in linux. in linux (in lubunti 18.04 i set TearFree and its is work in every browser excluding old version chrome)... after updating edge tearfree stop work too. switched to beta (because i found that now beta is released) - again show tearing... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfL_JkcEFbE
another: can you finally fix annoying popup for translatation? translate button is enough... no need for the annoying popup on every page...some extensions from chrome store cannot be installed, need to install them in chrome, and after that i can install unpacked in edge dev/beta... and what is the point to pack extensions, and can't install them after packaging?
