Hello, Insiders! We went through all the feedback in the survey from June and boy do we have a lot to go over! Over the next month, you will see updates from us about what we heard, what we’re doing about it now, and what else we want to change. We are stoked to share the changes coming with you, and looking forward to working with our partners to improve your feedback experience. Now onto the feedback summary!
We have a couple of brief updates for you this month. Canary users should see the double-click to close tabs option, however we are still working on a few things before users in China will see this more broadly. We should have more updates next month, so stay tuned! Want to see this feature in your region? Let us know by giving us feedback on the Discussion thread here so the team can see the request.
ICYMI – there are updates coming to Collections! We are working out a few things still but Enable search of items in Collections will be coming with these changes, so that status has been updated to Planned for November. You can expect to see more from us on that as we get closer to the end of the year (which in reality is really only two updates away, where did 2022 go?).
Lastly, while it is not on this list, we briefly mentioned in the past about the huge context menu and Settings and more (…) lists. We have been working on those changes and have updates to share soon! The team would love to hear feedback from you all once we are able to share the changes we have been working on.

Did you know we have a new portal in which you can submit feedback on what changes you want to see? We found out through the survey results this is your second most preferred way of providing the team feedback! You told us that you enjoy the fact one can search to see if their idea is already on the Edge Feedback portal, and that you can post up a new suggestion to get other likeminded people to comment and vote on it. Have something you think might be more of a bug? You can send it to us directly through the in-app feedback tool by heading to the … menu > Help and feedback > Send feedback and include diagnostics. Detailing exactly what you see will ensure that the team understands the issue at hand, and if you include your email address it offers you the ability to receive email updates whenever we take action on your item.

Hello! I have been wanting this since no browser has this I would want to make a custom home page that you can make it a website. So when you open a blank tab it shows the website page in the background.
If feel like that double click one is going to irritate me. I keep a LOT of tabs open (ahhem, on multiple browsers). :nerd_face:
I thought being able to keep videos from auto playing was already an option somewhere. Could have swore I ran across it. ..

Oh, and the reading list (and audio), OMG, no idea how I ever lived without it. (Yeah, I know I could have had the narrator dude who lives in that box in the setting of windows, but he's terribly inconvenient (don't tell him I said that).
When using pict-in-picture mode on the Bilibili video playback platform, I was unable to freely zoom in and out of the image, and I was unable to use the video playback platform to move forward and back. Very affect my learning efficiency, in Firefox can use these functions. Hopefully Microsoft Edge will learn and improve.
@MissyQ I was wondering if there were going to be any placement of accessible feedback tabs on the pages. I hate having to go look for where to submit feedback. Thank you Chris
@kinmfer Hey! Yes, it currently is the most up to date right now. Back in August I suffered a pretty severe disc herniation and it was well-timed with Josh taking off all of September. ;) We're behind on our updates, but we're catching up finally and hope to have updates next week or the week after for this list. We're working on a ton of internal shuffling as well, so that has taken up our time with coordination while I am working reduced hours. I haven't advertised this much anywhere except LinkedIn, so I apologize if there is any frustrations in the community around this. Know that I am on the mend and we are picking up our dropped pieces. :)
@SpEcIaLiStJoKeR I wanted to make sure you knew as well that you can add the Feedback button to the toolbar for ease of access, and if you are on a Windows or Linux device you can use the keyboard shortcut Alt+Shift+i to bring up the feedback tool. You can right-click on your toolbar to bring up the Customize toolbar settings and add on the feedback button at the bottom of the list. Hopefully this is what you were asking for, let me know if I misunderstood! :3
