This build seems to be really crash-happy. It's prone to suddenly freezing up for a few seconds then silently crashing, and sometimes it would also bring Outlook with it. This happens especially often when there is a video playing in a tab somewhere. After a few more crashes, I found that the GPU process is the cause. Turning off hardware acceleration stops this so that's what needs to be fixed.

This update almost instantly crashes when I attempt to load it. Hoping another update is released soon which fixes this instant crashing.

Gouri_MurmuThis Update just make the browser unusable. It opens and automatically closes. Not even 10secs to try and save some info to migrate to normal edge

this update REALLY doesn't like video. the green streaming site, youtube, twitch all make it freeze (audio still plays but the video is frozen, tabs are frozen, can't do anything besides close it). It also seems to have bursts where it absolutely throttles the GPU. Agree that graphics acceleration is probably busted and will be turning that off to see if that helps.

  We've updated to Edge Version 124.0.2478.51 this morning and now when downloading Java jnlp formlet, edge doesn't trust the file type, although the edge policy works in version 123.0

    Ian_Davies_PMUK we are experiencing this issue in the latest stable version as well. What we had to do is add the domain into the following policy to allow insecure content for some reason: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-ca/DeployEdge/microsoft-edge-policies#insecurecontentallowedforurls
    
    I would appreciate a response to this as it caused quite the impact in our environment today.

This update 124.0.2438.3 breaks my symbolic link to the User Data directory stored on a different internal HDD.
When launched it throws up a blank white screen, no window frame or toolbars and then disappears.

Rolling back to version 123.0.2420.10 fixes the issue. However, Edge Dev keeps on updating to the latest version therefore have disabled related EdgeUpdate entries in Services & Task Scheduler.
