Creating tabs on split form.

I want to have tabs on a split form but I'm having trouble doing it. Whats the best workflow?

I am creating an employee database. I want the end user to have a list of employees on the left and tabs on the right they can select from to see different types of information.

I tried..

1. Create split form

2. Cut fields

3. Insert tabs

4. Paste fields on first tab.

It looks as I want it but the fields i pasted onto the first tab appear on every tab. The next tab is not blank for me to insert another sub form.
