Servicing Update for SQL Server 2019 RTM (GDR)

Servicing Update for SQL Server 2019 RTM (GDR) is now available for download at the Microsoft Download Center and Microsoft Update Catalog sites.

Servicing Update for SQL Server 2019 RTM (GDR) is a non-security GDR release.  The Servicing Update payload mainly contains additional fixes required for the new SQL Server 2019 Big Data Clusters feature and there is a critical fix for SQL Server Failover Cluster named instance.  This servicing patch is designed to be installed after SQL Server 2019 RTM.  Note that after installation of this Servicing Update, you will still have the option to install SQL Server 2019 CU1 or the next SQL Server 2019 GDR servicing release.
