Managing your government work just got a easier. We’re happy to announce that Microsoft Planner's popular integration with Microsoft Teams is now available for all Microsoft 365 Government GCC plans.  This integration will be coming to GCC High and G4 plans in the coming months as well.  There’s nothing to install or enable to start using Planner in Teams: simply open your Teams app, add a plan, and begin managing your work more efficiently.

With this integration, you can add a Planner tab to your Teams channel and manage the resulting plan across all Teams apps: desktop, online, and mobile.  Planner in Teams for GCC comes with the latest Planner features, except email notifications, which are coming soon, along with the added collaboration benefits of Teams.

Planner in Teams brings simple work management to your hub for collaboration.  To get started, select the add a tab plus "+" sign in a Teams channel and choose Planner.  Just enter the plan name and start planning — create tasks, assign work, check progress, and more.

Adding Planner to Teams helps you consolidate all Teams activities in one place, eliminating the need to switch between apps for team task tracking and team communication. Visit our support site for more details on using Planner in Teams.

We’re working hard to continue bringing more Planner features to government users, especially now that Planner for GCC and GCC High is generally available. You can read more about our government release plans here. We also invite you to submit ideas for future releases through our UserVoice site and to engage with us and other Planner users on Tech Community.
