Following Microsoft Forms Public Preview for Office 365 commercial customers announcement June 23, 2017, we're rolling out Microsoft Forms Public Preview to our Office 365 commercial subscribers. Today, all commercial customers can visit http://forms.office.com to create surveys, polls or quizzes.

The Forms tile in Office 365 app launcher is rolling out gradually and may take several weeks to appear in all commercial tenants.

    Thanks for the update.

Just to confirm, the rollout has moved beyond First Release, so now all commercial tenant users by default have access to Microsoft Forms via the URL and they will eventually see the corresponding tile listed in app launcher? Is that right?

  • Hi cian, yes all Office 365 commercial users can access to Forms at http://forms.office.com. We are rolling out the Forms' tile in app launcher and will get to your tenant soon. Thanks!

    Hi Kathy Liu!

What does "Public Preview" mean in practice? How does it differ from General Availability (GA)?

I got this question from our executives who wanted to know if Forms could be used without the fear of losing data or compromising the security.
