CNG-DRP that is the problem that I ran into. I currently have my Domain controllers in 2012 r2. I have demoted one of the servers but I'm afraid by migrating the FRS to DFS-R will cause a problem between my old domain controllers replicating. Do you know if DFS-R replication works on server 2012 r2?

@RasmusJohnsen I am the Feature PM at Microsoft for ADCS and I need to point out some issues in your replies: When migrating from 2008R2 to 2016 or 2019 the interim step of going to 2012R2 first is not required. That interim step is only required if you're starting with 2008 or earlier. Your comment...

No sorry, I can get a VM to boot right to it but a real machine will not, it just sits at the PXE boot screen. Like it's probably hitting the server but not the boot file. Thanks anyway!

@stogiefan sorry to hear you are having issues. Without an error message or more information it will be really hard to offer any advice. Have you got an error message or any log files that might help at all?

I am having this issue but am not sure why as I have a small network, DC is handing DHCP, DHCP is configured to point to WDS server (and NBP file). everything is current and 64-bit. Machine is set to PXE boot but fails. I know nothing about IP Helpers or even where to begin there so I'd rather not g...
