We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 10/10, 02:00 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 10/09, 19:35 UTC and that during the 6 hours 25 minutes that it took to resolve the issue some of customers in East Us experienced data access issue in the Azure portal and degraded query performance.
- Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in one of our backend service.
