MicrosoftLAPS auditing (whether for legacy LAPS or new Windows LAPS) is based on AD\LDAP auditing. The attributes are different between the two, but the approach is just the same. So I am not sure what else you are looking for - can you please clarify what's missing in Windows LAPS here?
