Is there any update on this? Would like to reiterate Jeff's question below - how can we prioritize this for Microsoft if it's been a feature request since 2021?

Besides upvoting, what would it take to prioritize this work? We have a new Epson SC-T5100 series plotter. We have implemented a proxy box to keep it secure, but therein lies the missing piece. After installing the UP Connector everything runs smoothly in terms of the connector seeing the plotter and UP allowing for registration. We can see it in UP and share it without incident. It doesn't print, it just hangs with no errors. Very frustrating when all indications were positive.

would love to see the ability to support for plotters here. we mainly use Canon Color wave plotters. going to see how to make it work on a test deployment. currently the only thing holding us back is this feature.

Posting my support for this as well, my company has 3 large Canon imagePROGRAF plotters and we'd like to see Universal Print support these types of printers. It'd be nice to have one general way to add printers, rather than telling users to add regular MFPs one way and setting up some custom self-service way to add plotters.

HP Designjet T120 and T830 also doesn't show any large paper sizes like A2, A1 and A0

HP Designjet T630. Universal Print printer not showing large paper sizes like A2, A1 and A0. LocalPcpt.xml shows, they are correctly extracted from connector. May the Universal Print printer does not shows them.

Connected the iPF840 we have and could print A4 and A3 to it, added non generic drivers, but i get an error when sending print jobs now, we are having to run a virtual machine for users to log in to via AVD just so they can print to plotters, very clunky.

Is this any further along? its bit ridiculous that can't only print A3 & A4

If possible also for Canon and Oce plotters.

(industrial label printers like Intermec/Honeywell would be nice too)
