According to the documentation here, there is a 'quota' of jobs you can print in your 'billing period'

Can this please be an optional feature since most companies already lease/own/run the printer infrastructure that is required at the office for Microsoft Universal Printing to run (server, on premise agent, printer + consumables)
Whilst this feature could be helpful for a provider it doesn't make sense for day to day operations, nor does it make sense when the Endpoint Manager connection is all manually managed by the Admin.
Until this is changed, and extra Intune connectivity is added, I can't see why this should even be a licensed feature.

Universal Print is a cloud print solution and in combination with printer models that are Universal Print ready, does not require any on premises infrastructure. Customers who want to use Universal Print can eliminate print servers and move that infrastructure to the Microsoft 365 cloud by registering printers with their Azure AD instance. Universal Print comes with a pool of print-jobs, and additional print-jobs can be added to the tenant pool if the standard is not sufficient.
Universal Print is optional when subscribed to Windows or Microsoft 365 subscriptions, a customer is free to use it or not. A customer can use print infrastructure on-premises (servers, etc.) to provide print to the employees.
