Universal print would be a lot more useful if it provided support for both Windows and macOS devices as many enterprises support both platforms.

¡Gracias por la actualización! Es genial saber que la función está "en progreso". ¿Podría alguien del equipo de Microsoft proporcionar una fecha estimada de lanzamiento? Sería útil para fines de planificación.

Hi AHMAD29690 and abbassaqib450, cross-platform support is very important to Microsoft as well. Universal Print support for macOS is already in public preview today and we're working toward general availability soon.
Please give it a try and provide your feedback so we can continuously improve the experience. Does it already meet your needs? Is there something missing that would make it truly support your use case?

Agreed! Adding macOS support to Universal Print would significantly enhance its value for enterprises that operate in mixed environments. Cross-platform compatibility is crucial for seamless printing management across all devices. Hopefully, we'll see this added in future updates.

t’s true that having Universal Print support for both Windows and macOS devices would significantly enhance its utility in mixed-platform environments. Many enterprises use a combination of operating systems, so a seamless printing solution that works across both Windows and macOS would streamline workflows and reduce administrative overhead.

If you're considering providing support for macOS devices, it's a smart move. macOS is known for its stability and user-friendly interface, but like any operating system, it can have its quirks and issues that users may need help with. Offering support for macOS devices can really set you apart, especially since Apple users often expect high-quality service and a deep understanding of the ecosystem.
By providing detailed, clear, and easy-to-understand support, you can help users navigate common challenges, whether it's setting up their devices, troubleshooting software issues, or optimizing their system for better performance. Plus, with the growing popularity of macOS in both personal and professional settings, offering this kind of support could lead to more satisfied customers and, ultimately, stronger customer loyalty. It's all about making sure people can get the most out of their devices with as little hassle as possible.
