Allow Tenant-Guests to connect to a Universal Printer of my Company to Print there to

I would like to have the option to add a Guest Account to a specific Printer from my Printer list and let them Print. Maybe we can add another option to only allow Guest Printing from a specific Network, or a possible option to use Guest Printing with Conditional Access Policy, that a Guest can not Print for Fun in our Tenant.

  • WOOLOLNOTTS, we don't have an estimate of when this will be available yet. It's definitely planned and on our backlog (i.e., we know we will do the work). It's just not scheduled yet because we are giving priority to features with more upvotes.

Sorry I don't have better news. Thanks for upvoting, though. It really helps move the feature up in the backlog.

  • I would be really a cool feature, very often we found ourselves hosting guest entities in our premises! Please implement it 🙂

    Dear colleagues,

Any news on the current great initiative? Would be very happy to try it in our tenant 🙂

Being able to add a Guest Account to a specific Printer from my Printer list and let them Print, or to any printer, would be extremely useful to us, given the focus on modern ways of working where multiple organisations share working spaces, for example agile teams from vendors or multiple agencies or businesses.

  • Hi Rani_Abdellatif this is not a duplicate of machine-centric queues at all. This is about Azure AD B2B guest accounts being able to print via Universal Print. The other request is about local/guest accounts *on a PC* being able to print via UP.

For shared office/workspace scenarios (common in government) B2B guest support would be an extremely useful feature.

    Cheers, Peter
