Usage of "Sites.selected" - Granting access

I have an app that allows to upload files to any one drive or share point files, however, it currently requires the very broad 'Files.Read.All' scope and I want to move to using 'Sites.selected' so the user can decide what sites my app has access to. I've watched the videos related to granting an app access to a shared point (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNIF3zCYNUk&t=237s) but that requires using powershell and is something that I cannot ask a customer to do. Is there any way that a "regular user" (one with a MS 365 subscription with admin rights) can assign the "sites.selected" permission to an app?

Ideally the login flow should include a selection of sites to grant access to if the 'Sites.selected' scope is choosen. This way the user would select the sites the app can access right from the login flow. Is this something that is coming somehow?

Thanks so much in advance!
