Transfer entire slide (not just current outline view) to word
Hello, I am a grad student and transfer powerpoints to word documents to study more easily. However in the current set up, via the "outline" format under view - you can only rapid copy over what is typed in the originally pre-formatted title and body text boxes. This means that about <10% of the slides transfer over using that function. It takes me hours to go through the powerpoints and copy/paste individual text boxes over into my word document.
If I copy the entire slide instead, I lose the ability the use cntrl+f when studying later as it is essentially like copying a screenshot rather than the actual word content of the slides.
My Anesthesia program has a shared drive where about 20 of us work together to collate the slide information into a word doc as its the way we all prefer to study so the content flows rather than being split up slide by slide.
Is there any way you can enable copying of ALL text boxes on a slide rather than what is shown in the outline view. I had previously launched a case (Case #: 29068512) which has a video attached that shows how I currently transfer all the information between powerpoint and word.
I have even tried formatting the powerpoints into pdfs and using adobe to transfer them into word docs to save the written content that way - and while it copies over a larger percentage of the words - the formatting gets really messed up so it ends up taking about the same amount of time.
Thank you, I have 2.5 more years left in my program and will cry if I have to keep transferring the information this way as it is so time consuming. Thank you, and if you need more information that could help explain the issue, please don't hesitate to email me at Email address removed as I would be thrilled to help make this an option for other students too.
