Hi,
This is a basic requirement that I have been asking for for years. Without these permissions the Planner app cannot be used for critical work planning and is only really a basic task tracking tool where it doesn't matter if tasks are deleted or not.
For example there are templates for say project management which are supposed to be used for delivering a critical set of tasks yet any one of those tasks can be deleted by accident or deliberately without any notification or ability to recover them.
I'm not sure why Microsoft dont recognise this.
We are looking at alternative tools for this exact reason.
