When editing a recurring series in Outlook, exceptions (modified occurences) are lost/reverted to the series default. This is highly undesirable: a modified occurrence was modified for a (planning) reason, and reverting it causes planning issues. This has been a problem with Outlook since its inception, but never late than never.
