On some business scenarios there is the need of accessing mailbox.item before opening it.
The ability to read (and write) the "raw" contents of an email received both in desktop and mobile, encrypted or not, could be very useful for some features like: prevent phising, cryptography end-to-end, adding warnings, remove contents, and many other custom features for the companies.
The current scenario only allows the user to access the Add-in once the email is already opened, and there is no way of adding content to the received email body/subject, plus if the email is encrypted there is no way to access the Add-ins, if you want to develop an Add-in in order to decrypt emails in the device then it becomes impossible.
