It would be nice if Outlook provides an event for incoming email. I have checked the list of supported events at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/dev/add-ins/outlook/autolaunch . Strangely i couldn't find an event which accurs when a new mail arrived.
I am requesting this feature because i am working on a add-in on which i want to perform certain actions on the incoming emails like mark it read or move to a certain folder etc.

I think an incoming message event is great, but the examples you provided don't seem to fit that well. If the user doesn't have the app open then your actions wouldn't be performed. Those specific examples are better left to rules or some other mechanism that works even when the user is logged out.
