Currently if an application has only the Sites.Selected permission it's unable to share items from the site(s) it has access to. It would be nice to be able to share items from the sites it has write access to without needing the Sites.ReadWrite.All permission.

I need the same functionality for the app I'm working on. I think it is very logical that an app with access to the selected site can add permissions to the documents in that site. Any idea if this is planned to be implemented?
