Fix hold "Ctrl" while dragging event to duplicate event in New Outlook Calendar.

In "Old Outlook" you could hold CTRL and drag a calendar event to duplicate it.

In the "New Outlook" this no longer works, you must right click, and select duplicate, and then pick a time etc etc, much much slower than it used to be. This needs fixed.

I completely agree - it's absolutely vital that shortcuts like this familiar to users of 'old Outlook' are implemented in 'new Outlook' if Microsoft hope that users will migrate to 'new Outlook'.

It's disconcerting that this still hasn't been remedied. This feature saves so much time and if it is not revived shortly, I will be discontinuing using Outlook and finding an alternative for my personal and business calendars.

  • Yes, please.

It is highly annoying to have to use multiple clicks and keypresses, instead of simply CTRL+dragging calendar events.

I agree totally, depending on how you use the calendar, this option is a must have, and it is for me.

+ 1 ... it was a very nice feature, quick and easy to manage our calendar. Very sad to not have it anymore
