Enable Read only monitoring role permission set to users & graph app for only SharePoint Admin center

 

As we checked and tested there is no way as per now to have read only permission for SharePoint admin center to monitor the Site collections site usage.

 

I have been tested through Azure AD roles & permission assignments.

 

If i wanted to connect using powershell to the Sharepoint Online to monitor the site collection usage statistics & to query the audit logs, the only option is to use Exchange Administration role from Azure AD. Since "Administrator role" as a high privileged, can't use it for monitoring & auditing.
