Using Apple Pencil will shut down RD client when connecting to the remote computer. This
situation happens after updating the app today.

SherlockHomie are these issues specific to the most recent iOS RD Client version? or have they existed for a while? For (1) and (2) does 'Set Display Resolution' provide any help in Use features of the Remote Desktop client for iOS and iPadOS - Azure Virtual Desktop | Microsoft Learn?
For (3) Is the remote endpoint running Windows 10 or above? What endpoint are you connecting to?
Thanks

John_Spencer any updates? I emailed to be be contacted regarding the issue with the pencil and never heard back. Where are we in the process of fixing this issue.
It would be nice to know if you are going to fix this prior to the end of the year because I need to know if I should purchase a different machine so I can effectively do my work

I'm having several problems with the Microsoft RDP iOS app on the iPad (iPad Air 4th gen with Apple Pencil 2nd gen):
- The remote computer's image is simply scaled (squished) into the local iPad resolution causing a distorted image. On all my other RDP clients (non iOS) apps the remote computer's image is changed to the local client's resolution
- The remote computer's cursor is offset from the RDP iOS app's cursor (touch or Apple Pencil cursor)
- As soon as I touch Apple Pencil to the iPad screen in the RDP iOS app, the app crashes.
As of right now, the iOS Microsoft RDP app is completely unusable for me, which is particularly annoying as this these devices are being used in a business setting.

Same here. I would love to get this resolved. My Apple Pencil stopped working only in the RD client app, but it’s working everywhere else.

John_Spencer can we get an update? Is this something that MS is tackling?

Similar situation with iPad users in our company using the Zagg Pro Stylus on iPad (9th generation) with IOS 16.1 and also on iPad Air (3rd generation) on IOS 15.7. For the iPad Air the RDP sessions worked fine until the last RDP update to 10.4.4 and then it was noted on 10/12/2022 that it dropped the RDP connection whenever the pen touched any shortcut or menu item on the RDP connected desktop. For one user with a iPad (9th generation), this only started happening yesterday on 11/10/2022. The stylus on all of our iPads still works well with all other apps.

Any resolution to this yet? Here at my company we have some users who would really like me to find a resolution to this. With that last update, Apple Pencil's do not work in RD sessions anymore. Thanks.
