I made this post a few days ago, I also have some problems on Ipad client with shortcuts. Looks like it's the same problem I'm facing (whether hijacking on different apps and making Blender (+ 3d coat on my part) useless not registering anything.), and it happened with another user back in 2023 too.
Turns out, bothes of us have a 3rd gen (2018) Ipad pro. Is it your case too? Was it always hijacking that way on your side since a long time?
