I’m using RDP on my iPad Pro (iPadOS 15.1) using an external keyboard. Unfortunately, regular alphabet keys (a,b,c,…,z) are not sent correctly during the RDP session. Could you assist me in fixing this issue/bug?
Note: On VS Code, when trying to assign keyboard shortcuts with alphabet letters from the iPad, I get an “unknown” keystroke (screenshot below).

I have a similar issue using iPad rpd client to connect to a virtual box vm. All letter and number key presses are not passed through to the vm, while other keys such as esc and ctrl are recognised correctly.

Hello,
Thank you for your response. I have reproduced the issue with more than one physical keyboard (Apple Magic Keyboard, and Cherry), and also with the software keyboard on RDP.
Steps to reproduce: open an RDP session > open VS Code > open Settings then Keyboard Shortcuts > try editing any keyboard shortcut > press alphabetical characters [a..z, A…Z]
If reproduced correctly, VS code would output “unknown” as the key detected.
Best,
Christophe

Hello,
Please provide the external keyboard model you are using and any additional details that could assist in reproducing this bug (i.e. what keys are being incorrectly mapped).
Thanks
