Hi, starting off with another feature request π
Bring Delivery Optimization into Windows Autopatch
I see Windows Autopatch as the one-stop solution for configuring, deploying, and monitoring Windows updates. A great addition would be to bring Delivery Optimization into that same experience.
This could include:
- Recommended or optimized Delivery Optimization settings managed by Autopatch.
- Reporting on how much update content was downloaded from the internet versus distributed between devices locally.
- Delivery efficiency insights, such as bandwidth saved through peer-to-peer delivery.
- Visibility into whether devices are actually benefiting from Delivery Optimization.
This would make Autopatch not only about keeping devices updated, but also about optimizing how those updates are delivered.
Especially for organizations with many devices at the same location, being able to say "Autopatch kept us current and saved X GB of internet traffic through local distribution" would be a great story.
Thanks again for listening! π
