We had machines that somehow got onto a version of Windows 11 Insider Preview - we have tried everything to get those out of Insider Preview Channel and back into the General Update channel - anyone have any way to make this happen?
- nlmitchellNov 16, 2023Brass ContributorThe only ones we have on insider preview are users that have registered to be on that programme and devices that are purposely targeted with an Intune Update Ring policy setting the 'Windows Insider - Release Preview' as the the Servicing Channel. We did however have some devices automatically upgrade to Win11 23H2 when they weren't meant to 😞
- Rich_OlsonNov 16, 2023Copper ContributorTo give more information - as we are learning Intune Policies - we did have the channel set, for the Intune Update, to Windows 11 Insider Preview, it was there for the longest time and then once we adjusted the time the machines could update all of sudden they got into the Preview Channel. There has to be a way to get those machines out of the Preview Channel into the General Channel - We have tried everything and the only options we see is to reset the machine. Microsoft help!!!!

Assuming you are using Windows Update for Business for patching driven by Intune policies that is mind
