We've been experiencing issues when adding network printers to Windows 10/11 with these circumstances:
1, SNMP status is enabled and the community string is set to "public" and the printer is OFFLINE (turned off)
2. SNMP status is enabled and the community string is set to a custom community string (anything other than public) and the printer is online.
This is apparently a long-standing 'known issue' - any plans to resolve? https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/094569df-f460-496a-9ed7-d30fddb343f4/print-server-on-windows-2016-slow-printer-mapping-when-printer-is-offline?forum=winserverprint#f0beb3fb-3cff-4c9a-9c20-9028694bd2e8-isAnswer
