Hello, our users rely on allowing others to view contents of their email accounts to do their work. We share everything other than emails marked as private, however in new outlook and OWA the private flag is ignored by the email client and previously hidden (private) messages are displayed. Can I please check if private email flag is something that will be a feature of new Outlook? If not, what would you suggest the best solution would be ?

UgreeN Thanks for that feedback. I reached out to the team that owns "new Outlook" but I also want to make sure you are secure and private email is private. Please switch back to classic (legacy) Outlook using the slider in the top right corner, and in the "Why did you switch back" dialog box, enter the privacy concern that the privacy flag doesn't work.

We block new outlook (or at least chase the different policies), so currently we have no worries with regards to "new Outlook issue", however as time goes on, we will be more and more pushed to look at alternatives or solutions to the above issue.

We did something similar by putting copies of emails in a Public Folder. We have since migrated to a new product call Mail Manager (http://www.mailmanager.com). We have it configured to store the messages on SharePoint.
This would allow you to share emails between staff and make it easier to find a message later.
