Jason_Berger You can use Intune to deploy Store apps, including Company Portal. Take a look at Add Microsoft Store apps to Microsoft Intune | Microsoft Learn
- CRoth2Jun 15, 2023Copper ContributorI have attempted to deploy this app as required to a group with only a handful of pilot machines in it, but they aren't receiving it. Similar to the OP I am in SCCM Co-management Pilot mode. I have separate collections configured for each workload to make the testing granular. Currently, the test devices are ONLY in collections that "Intune Auto-enrollment" them and "Windows Update Policies" and "Office Click-to-Run Apps" workloads are handled by Intune. I am guessing this is why the Company Portal is not deploying. Does this sound right? Do I have to enable "Client apps" or "Device Configuration" or "Compliance Policies" etc. to make the app installation work?

If you create a test Device Collection in MECM and set the Client Apps workload to 'Pilot Intune' in Cloud Attach \ CoMgmtSettingsProd \ Workloads tab. Then set the Device Collection for Client apps in the Staging tab then that should automatically deploy the Intune Company Portal to devices contained within the Device Collection from what I can remember. Once it's on there then you will be able to deploy apps to those devices through both Intune and MECM. MECM app deployed as Available are then installable through Company Portal and Software Center. Please someone correct me if i'm wrong, it was a while ago that we done the migration of workloads from MECM to Intune 🙂
- CRoth2Jun 15, 2023Copper ContributorI don't know that it installs automatically, but I did put one of my test machines in the "Client Apps" group yesterday and when I checked today it DOES have Company Portal. I'll have to put another machine in the "Client Apps" collection WITHOUT them being in the group I told Intune to require the installation. I am VERY surprised to see that my Software Center applications are showing there as I certainly haven't packaged them for Intune yet. Assume this is to be expected. I am not familiar with Company Portal. Is software Center no longer a thing even in a hybrid co-managed environment? Is Company Portal in addition to as a transition or what?
