Join this AMA to ask us your questions about what to expect during a migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11 in your environment. Today, you manage your Windows 10 estate using an established process, cadence, tools, servicing model, a ring strategy, security model, etc. so what should one expect in moving to a Windows 11 estate?
Submit your questions during this live hour--or submit questions early (by posting a Comment below) and catch up when it's convenient for you.
This AMA did not have a video feed, but our speakers responded to comments live during the scheduled time in discussion below.

- GovGeekBrass ContributorSince the Feature Updates for Windows 11 are going to be annual, does this mean Microsoft will lean on the Windows Feature Experience Packs going forward to introduce new/updated features instead for the care and feeding outside of Microsoft Store/Windows Update? If so, will there me a mechanism for Administrators to manage the Windows Feature Experience Packs? In particular, thinking of SCADA type systems that are not LTSC.

Hi GovGeek, we are constantly working on improving the way that we deliver high quality and valuable paylaods and features through a variety of different methods and improve the controls that admins have over such. This is especially true for updates coming through Windows Updates.
- Dennis_EwaldBrass ContributorWill Windows 11 Enterprise also come with bloatware like xbox, candy crush, cortana and so on ?
- DeletedWindows 11 Enterprise will not include third party games pinned to the Start menu
- Dennis_EwaldBrass ContributorBut will it be available on my client if i type xbox into the start menu ?
- Udo_PetersCopper ContributorHow will the enterprise license model look like, similar to Windows 10?
- Jason_Leznek
Microsoft
Yes, similar to Windows 10.
- vnavarroCopper ContributorSo, with the announcement of Windows 365, one of the benefits is to have the same profile no matter where the user login. This is true regarding the profile of the Virtual environment (Windows 365), how is going to be the transition between the local profile (on-premises or actual user's devices) of the user they already have in their devices, and the one in Azure? Is there going to be like a migration/synchronization tool between the actual profile (on-premises if you want to name it) and the one in Windows 365, or is going to be a different profile?
- CarolineDorionCopper ContributorWill Entreprise roaming add some syncing features for the start menu tile disposal and pinned apps in taskbar for Windows 11 ?

Hi Caroline, I'm not aware of any plans to support syncing Start Menu tiles and Taskbar pinned apps at this time. Please feel free to submit feedback via Feedback Hub or to pm me with your business need . Thanks, -Kevin
- Michael100Copper ContributorIs there an audio problem? I cannot hear anything.
- ThomasTrombleyIron ContributorWhile some of our sessions are live, all of the questions get fed into a text-based AMA. This one, however, is text only. Please feel free to post your questions here in chat!
- KurtGMoody21Copper ContributorCan we get a full list of which of today's session are live please? That will help us understand how to better schedule our time and prioritize complementary levels of engagement throughout the day.
- ChrisWilliamsBrass Contributorok im not the only one.
- Benoit__laplanteCopper ContributorThe video have no sound and keep the same pic
- ThomasTrombleyIron ContributorThis one is strictly text based only for this session.
- hoyty76Iron ContributorWhy is there a video for a text based session, just have a static graphic so you don't confuse everyone?
- Andy1Q7Copper ContributorWindows 11 shall be secure by default. I work often with companies that have a lot of old stuff like servers that only understand TLS 1.0 or worse. Some MS dude told me Cred Guard may not be possible to disable anymore. Will Windows 11 still be able to talk to legacy stuff if configured?
- Laser235Copper ContributorWindows 11 is fine not being grouped, but what is annoying is it adds the unwanted dynamic games and apps after a update. stop adding spotify, xbox , and games dynamically to Windows 11 start menu.
