With Cloud PKI kicking off I’d love to hear more about the Intune / Windows side of on-prem network auth; this has historically been done with NPS but there’s been a big gap for cloud-joined devices until now. Will device-and-user certs be possible? To date that hasn’t worked as it’s a chicken-and-egg scenario (device connection disconnects on user logon but user hasn’t logged in before to be able to sync and get a cert).

NPS is a legacy solution and technology that we have no current plans to update although we are aware of the need and are investigating possible paths forward. The best path to follow today if you have a requirement for device-based certificate authentication via RADIUS is to look at a solution from one of the many network vendors and our partners.
